Beekeepers are passionate persons who love honeybees, nature and the community.
Our beliefs:
- beekeepers as the first line of defense in the mission to protect our planet’s bees
- in order to address the problems/threats affecting the health of honeybees all the stakeholders must collaborate: beekeepers, veterinarians, researchers, authorities
To overcome the current challenges of modern beekeeping it is need it to:
- increase general knowledge about bees
- improve awareness of the threats affecting honeybees health
- promote a set of good management practices
- facilitate communication between beekeepers
Objectives:
- to help all beekeepers from around the world
- to make better informed decisions based on historical data, current conditions and best practices
- to minimize bee colonies loses, increase productivity
Our mission in 2020
Future plans include the following:
1. launching the platform for communication and collaboration between beekeepers, associations, farmers
2. building a complete platform for beekeepers:
- web application for visualization / analysis / communication / collaboration
- mobile terminals for collecting / verifying information when the beekeeper is in the apiary
